In addition to the main fleet of trucks, Eagle operates flatbed and curtainside trailers for full and part load deliveries. 'All trucks are fitted with GPS satellite
technology or cab phones which enable the drivers to be in constant contact with the team of trained staff in the office. This also means that Eagle provides its clients up-to-the-minute information on cargo wherever it is in the world. GPS also gives information on exact arrival times (the system is accurate to within 50 meters), so that clients can be ready to receive their goods.

It is on the many trips to less hospitable regions, such as areas within Eastern Europe, that the GPS really comes in to its own.

In such region there are often no mobile networks, extreme weather conditions, badly maintained roads, and erratic customs procedures that can hold up delivery for days. The GPS system enables secure transmission of alarm messages, should an emergency occur.
